Healthcare Education Services chosen by top
10 pharma companies and a US government agency
Healthcare Education Services has developed and run three successful,
privately commissioned oncology training courses in the first weeks
of 2008.
With a wealth of experience in developing and
running medical education programmes and a first class reputation
amongst scientific, pharmaceutical and medical professionals, Healthcare
Education Services is ideally equipped to deliver training courses
in oncology to these high profile pharmaceutical agencies.
The audiences, all pharmaceutical industry personnel, were drawn
from a range of positions including clinical research, medical information,
regulatory affairs, biometrics and strategic marketing. Their knowledge
and experience of the subject was varied. Healthcare's comprehensive
faculty resources within Europe and the USA enabled delegates to
learn from practicing clinicians in oncology. Each course programme
included an individually tailored overview of the subject including
the basic principles of cancer, prime target cancer sites and methods
of treatment. Case presentations and group work encouraged delegates
to develop a thorough understanding of the topic.
Commenting on the courses, delegates had benefited from '
clear
and knowledgeable speakers' and described the courses as 'excellent'
and 'exceeded expectations'. In response Education Services Director,
Valerie Smith said 'Healthcare prides itself on its ability to develop
a course programme to the client requirements and works with each
client to achieve their needs. We are delighted with these successes.'
Healthcare is a preferred supplier for a number
of leading pharmaceutical companies with long established expertise
in providing medical education developing brand-specific courses
for their clients. Healthcare's courses are designed to provide
high-quality education in a range of therapy areas and a variety
of marketing issues. The courses are ideal for both medical and
non-medical staff within the pharmaceutical industry.
