This course will provide a general introduction to psychiatry before going on to focus on specific major psychiatric disorders.

The presentation, aetiology, epidemiology, investigations and treatments of patients with bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders will be described and explained. Pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments will be reviewed and the issues associated with clinical trials will be discussed. Delegates will hear about the reality of living with bipolar disorder from a person who lives with this condition.

Video presentations, case studies and practical sessions with rating scales will be inherent throughout this two-day course.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for pharmaceutical, biotech and other healthcare personnel involved in product management, strategic marketing, research and development, sales, training, medical affairs and pharmacovigilance of drugs used in psychiatry.

 

Fees

The registration fee is £1,775 plus VAT/TAXES. This includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Accommodation costs are not included.

Venue / Accommodation
