Bridgehead Consulting
Jim has a detailed understanding of pharmaceutical policy issues
and practical knowledge of company-government relations in drug
and device pricing and reimbursement. From 1991 to 1997 Jim was
head of the Department of Health Pharmaceutical Industry Branch
and was responsible for the operation of the UK Pharmaceutical Price
Regulation Scheme and drug budgets in the UK, as well as representing
the UK on pharmaceutical issues at the European Commission. Prior
to joining Bridgehead Consulting, Jim led the pharmaceutical policy
and drug pricing and reimbursement practice at Cambridge Pharma
Consultancy for five years. During his ten plus years in consultancy,
he has worked on over 100 pricing and reimbursement projects, with
most of the major pharmaceutical companies and many smaller organisations.
Jim is a regular speaker at international conferences on pharmaceutical
pricing, reimbursement and market access issues.
